A Hope to Dream, a program created by Ashley HomeStore, provides underprivileged children with a better night's sleep. For every A Hope to Dream mattress sold in a participating licensee location, a twin bed is donated to a child in need.
Ashley HomeStore licensee participation in the A Hope to Dream program was waning and Ashley Global Retail needed a way to encourage involvement while making a positive impact in their new community as they opened a new HomeStore in Orlando.
Fieldtrip created and executed a plan to document a family’s journey with A Hope to Dream from start to finish. We traveled to Florida and filmed interviews with the Social Worker who nominated the family, the store employees who were attending their first A Hope to Dream delivery and the family who would be receiving the beds.
Our efforts resulted in an award-winning emotive video that appealed to both HomeStore owners and members of the community. Demonstrating our charitable efforts through this poignant appeal strengthened our relationship with the community and improved Licensee participation. The video we created is still played in HomeStores today to inform customers of the A Hope to Dream program.
