Presentation Academy
Presentation Academy is Louisville’s oldest original Catholic school. Located in downtown Louisville, the school is a college preparatory academy for young women that draws a diverse student body from over 50 zip codes. Presentation helps students exceed academically and unearth their true talents.
THE CHALLENGE
Attracting the next generation of Pres Girls
With enrollment slowly declining, Presentation Academy sought to attract new students by highlighting their offerings to an expanded audience. In contrast to many of the other Archdiocesan schools, Presentation has a reputation for attracting a more unique, independently-minded student set, but they needed to appeal to a broader group in order to increase enrollment.
THE APPROACH
Rallying for tomorrow’s leaders
Presentation Academy needed a creative recruiting concept that would appeal to the next class of girls. The final concept was inspired by women fighting for what they believe in, themselves. It called to mind a time of rallies and marches, standing up for the ideas they believe in, with visuals of the campaign referencing the handmade signs of women’s marches past and present. Short, fearless, and inspiring copy combined with a bold color palette brought the concept to life.
THE RESULTS
A new sense of pride
The school administration quickly embraced the work, implementing it immediately while extending the campaign beyond just recruiting pieces and into school installations and apparel. With an approach like this, it takes time to see a direct impact on enrollment, but the students of Presentation Academy have been instilled with a fresh sense of pride in their school.
